I have a couple of problems based on howtodobasicalgebra I have tried a lot to solve them myself but in vain. Our teacher has asked us to solve them out ourselves and then present them to the entire class. I fear that I will be chosen to do so. Please guide me! |

I have been in your situation some time agowhen I was learning howtodobasicalgebra. What part of simplifying expressions and greatest common factor poses more difficulties? Because I believe that what you really need is a good software to help you understand the basic concepts and methods of solving the exercises. Did you ever try a software like that? I have tried many but I have to say that Algebrator is the best and the easiest to use. It's not like those other programs because it teaches you how to think, it doesn't just give you the solutions. |

Even I’ve been through that phase when I was trying to figure out a way to solve certain type of questions pertaining to logarithms and decimals. But then I found this piece of software and it was almost like I found a magic wand. In the blink of an eye it would solve even the most difficult problems for you. And the fact that it gives a detailed and elaborate explanation makes it even more handy. It’s a must buy for every math student. |

You mean it’s that effortless? Fantastic. Looks like just the one to end my search for a solution to my problems. Where can I find this program? Please do let me know. |

Thanks for the information. I have bought the Algebrator from http://www.mathmusic.org/subtracting-reverses.html and I happened to go through dividing fractions yesterday. It is pretty cool and very much readable. I was impressed by the detailed explanations offered on side-angle-side similarity. Rather than being test preparation oriented, the Algebrator aims at educating you with the basic principles of Algebra 1. The money back guarantee and the unbelievable rebates that they are currently offering makes the purchase particularly appealing. |
