Hello all, I have a very important test coming up in math soon and I would really appreciate if any of you can help me solve some questions in books on discrete mathmatics. I am quite good in math otherwise but problems in reducing fractions baffle me and I am at a loss. It would be wonderful if you can let me know of a reasonably priced software that I can use?

Student can’t seem to think of anything beyond tutoring. Why don’t you try something yourself? There are many tools for books on discrete mathmatics which are much better than tutoring. Try Algebrator, and you will never need a tutor.

I’ve been using this software since a year now, and it has never let me down. It won’t just solve a question for you, but it’ll also give details of every step that was taken to arrive at a particular solution. And that’s the best feature in my opinion.I was having a lot of problems tackling questions based on books on discrete mathmatics but ever since I bought this software, math has beenlike a piece of cake for me.

First of all thanks for replying guys! I really want to buy this software. Can you please tell me how to purchase this software? Can we order it through the web, or do we buy it from some retail store?

A great piece of math software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar difficulties while solving distance of points, 3x3 system of equations and factoring expressions. Just by typing in the problem from homeworkand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework would be ready. I have used it through several math classes - Remedial Algebra, College Algebra and Algebra 1. I highly recommend the program.

You can find it at http://www.mathmusic.org/solving-linear-equations.html. Please do post your feedback here. It may help a lot of other novices as well.
