Hi Math Geeks, Me and my friend have been trying to solve a couple of questions based on y-intercept. They are a part of our assignment in College Algebra and are to be submitted next week. Could you please assist us in finishing it. We are actually looking for a software that can guide us in getting this done.

I maybe able to help if you can be more specific and give more details about solve using elimination method calculator. A right program would be best option rather than a costly algebra tutor. After trying a number of software I found the Algebrator to be the best I have so far come across. It solves any math problem that you may want solved. It also shows all the steps (of the solution). You can just write it down as your homework . However, you should use it to learn algebra, and simply not use it to copy answers.

Actually even I like this software and I can’t explain how much it helped me when I lost all hope before my previous term exams. I got hold of Algebrator at just the right time and it helped me score really well in my exams. The fact that it explains in detail every step that needs to be carried out for solving a variety of distinct problems, really helped me.

Now I would surely want to try this thing myself. Where can I get my copy? Can someone please help me in purchasing this software?

A truly piece of algebra software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar difficulties while solving radical equations, y-intercept and adding fractions. Just by typing in the problem from homeworkand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework would be ready. I have used it through several math classes - Basic Math, Algebra 1 and Remedial Algebra. I highly recommend the program.

Don’t worry buddy. As what I said, it displays the solution for the problem so you won’t really have to copy the answer only but it makes you understand how did the software came up with the answer. Just go to this page http://www.mathmusic.org/simplifying-radicals-involving-variables.html and prepare to learn and solve faster.
