Hi! Our class just started tackling a new topic in math regarding math activities on foiling and I did pretty good for most homeworks we got but the latest one my professor gave complicated so I'd appreciate if somebody would teach me to understand it! It’s a problem solving homework my algebra professor gave out this day and it’s due next week and I tried answering it but still can’t get it right. I can’t finish it easily unlike the other assignments. I had an easy time doing my past assignments but this particular homework with specific topic of converting fractions gives me a hard time just figuring out how to start. I’m desperately in need of help. I’ll really appreciate if someone help me in explaining the steps and how to solve it in a systematic and clear way.

Hi, I think that I can to help you out. Have you ever tried out a program to help you with your math assignments? a while ago I was also stuck on a similar issues like you, but then I found Algebrator. It helped me a great deal with math activities on foiling and other algebra problems, so since then I always count on its help! My algebra grades got better thanks to the help of Algebrator.

I fully agree with that. It truly is a great software. Algebrator helped me and my peers a lot during our exam time. We went on to get more marks than we could ever have thought of. It explains things in a lot more detailed manner, than a instructor ever could, in a class. Moreover, you can read one solution over and over again till you actually understand it, unlike in the school where the teacher has to move on due to time constraints. Go ahead and try it.

Thanks for the detailed instructions, this sounds awesome. I wanted something exactly like Algebrator, because I don't want a program which only solves the exercise and gives the final result, I want something that can actually explain me how the exercise has to be solved. That way I can understand it and next time solve it on my own, not just copy the results. Where can I find the program?

You can buy it from http://www.mathmusic.org/estimating-sums-and-differences-of-mixed-numbers.html. I don’t think there are too many specific software requirements; you can just download and start using it.

I remember having often faced difficulties with graphing lines, radical inequalities and difference of cubes. A really great piece of math program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem homework a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many algebra classes – Algebra 1, Intermediate algebra and Intermediate algebra. I greatly recommend the program.
