Holla guys and gals! Recently I hired a private tutor to guide me with some topics in algebra. My problem areas included topics such as scott foresman advanced algebra worksheets and reducing fractions. Now that instructor turned out to be such a waste, that instead of helping me now I’m even more confused than I used to be. I still can’t solve problems on those topics. And the exam time is nearing. I need someone to help me out. Is there anything in particular that can be done to get some sort of help? I have a fairly large set of questions to help me learn these topics, but the problem is I just can’t crack them, no matter how much I try. Please help! |

This story sounds familiar to me. Even though I was great in math for several years, when I began Algebra 2 there were a lot of math topics that seemed very hard. I remember I got a very low grade when I took the test on scott foresman advanced algebra worksheets. Now I don't have this problem anymore, I can solve anything without problem, even relations and solving a triangle. I was smart that I didn't spend my money on a tutor, because I heard of Algebrator from a friend. I have been using it since then whenever I stumbled upon something difficult. |

It is good to know that you wish to improve your math and are taking efforts to do so. I think you should try Algebrator. This is not exactly a tutoring software but it provides solutions to math problems in a very descriptive manner. And the best thing about this software product is that it is very user friendly. There are several examples given under various topics which are quite helpful to learn the subject. Try it and wish you good luck with math. |

I remember having difficulties with factoring expressions, scientific notation and graphing circles. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Pre Algebra, Pre Algebra and Intermediate algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended. |
