Hi math wizards! I require some guidance to work out this how to write a java program that would calculate absolute value which I’m unable to do on my own. My math assignment is due and I need help to work on function definition, greatest common factor and graphing . I’m also thinking of hiring a math tutor but they are not economical. So I would be greatly value if you can extend some assistance in solving the problem.

Have you ever tried Algebrator? This is quite an interesting program and aids one in solving how to write a java program that would calculate absolute value problems easily and in minimal time.

1.Hey mate, you are on the mark about Algebrator! It is absolutely fab! I downloaded it recently from http://www.mathmusic.org/adding-and-subtracting-fractions.html after a colleague suggested it to me. Now, all I do is type in the problem from my text book and click on Solve. Bingo! I get a step-by-step solution to my algebra homework. It’s almost like a tutor is teaching it to you. I have been using it for three months and so far, haven’t come across any homework that Algebrator can’t solve. I have learnt so much from it!

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes - Basic Math, Intermediate algebra and Pre Algebra. It is a really a great piece of math software. I remember of going through problems with proportions, linear algebra and side-side-side similarity. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.
